Hey there boys and girls, ~MrNudge here. Yes, I do still kinda slink around in the shadows of Melbournites.
Anyway, I have some most fantastic news!

In perhaps the second or third time in the history of Melbournites, we're holding a contest!

We need you, yes you to design us a devmeet flag! Something that we can take along to all our future devmeets, and plant at our meeting location.

This will serve a few purposes. One; it'll make it easier to spot us from a distance. Two; it'll add a nice little tradition back into our devmeets (remember the day when a deviant was picked at random to be taped to a pole?) and Three; it gives you guys something to do!

So what do we need?

Obviously, something Melbourne and deviantART related.
5:3 aspect ratio (800x480 lets say).
No more than 4 colours.
One entry per deviant.

That aside, it's up to you!

Wondering how to submit a design? So am I kinda. So let's say, load it up into your gallery or scraps, and drop us a note with a link to your design along with a subject heading such as "Melbounites Flag Contest".
Sound fair? At this point in time this contest has no closing date, so keep an eye open for that one.

After the contest closes, we'll compile the entries together and put it to a vote of some sort, with journal features and a poll and stuff.

Prizes you say?! Well along with the pride of having your design made up into a full-sized 5x3' flag and displayed at all our devmeets, there'll probably be things like prints, fella dolls, other dA merch or even subs up for grabs.

So get going! I for one, am pretty damn excited.
