Hi boys and girls, ~MrNudge here again with a yummy update as to what's going on with Scavmeet Round IV.

As I wrote in the comment, we want every person in Melbourne to know this is happening!!. Tell all your friends, put the thumbnail or a big fat link in your journal, go hunt down random Melbourne deviants and sign them up to melbournites. We want this thing to be massive!
If you've never been to a devmeet before, now's the time. If you have been to a devmeet before, you'll probably have an idea what you're in for. If you've been to a scavmeet before, then hold onto your hats, because it's about to get wild!
So apart from a date being set and a poster being made, what else is new? Well as the observant ones of you may have figured out, the list is done. and it looks a little like this:
Oh yes, 4 beautiful pages of crazy. 301 tasks for a total of.. I have no idea how many points, but enough.
As for teams and such, the poll suggests you guys want 3 teams, like last time, but I'm beginning to think that it will be entirely dependent on numbers. If we can have 15 people a team, then 3 teams will work, anything less than that and it'll probably be two teams.
Other than that, there's not much else that needs to be done. Some more artwork, and a whole lot of promo, but from now on it's really just a waiting game for you guys. Fuck I lost the game -_-

So please! Leave a comment stating whether or not you will be/plan on attending! This will give us organisers an idea of how many teams there will be.

Eastermeet Rundown
Well since the devmeet yesterday had a grand turn-out of 7 people, I'm hoping that next weeks will be a more impressive event.
Nevertheless, here's the rundown:
I showed up around 12:30 to find ~lady-maree, ~ScruffyLad, =jamesilluminare and *FrankenKitty sitting around looking rather bored.
After a while of waiting around we headed off down southbank for no real reason.
We decided it was time for lunch, so to melbourne central we headed, only to find that the food court was closed.
However, all was not lost as ~the-zeo rocked up to save the day and inevitably do something stupid on camera. This time drinking the delightful cocktail of nandos tomato sauce + coke + peas. shortly thereafter ~ItFeltLove arrived and thus followed many more strange photos before *FrankenKitty, ~ScruffyLad and ~lady-maree parted ways.
So ~ItFeltLove, ~the-zeo, =jamesilluminare and I took a trip to crown where we snuck around all the fancy rooms and more photos were taken. After that we decided to call it a day and headed to collins st where the devmeet came to a close.
A small meet, but one that I will always remember.
Devmeet This Saturday
As for all you who couldn't/didn't make it *glare* next week there will be a re-play of yesterdays meet. Activities and events will undoubtedly differ, but the devmeet part is what matters.
This time, we want more people, more new faces, more old faces (i'm looking at you braiden) and more of you regulars!
So tell your friends, better yet, bring your friends and tell everyone!
And in my ever present spirit of laziness, here's the details from yesterdays meet changed to suit next weeks.
When?:
12 noon, Saturday, the 29th of March.
Where?:
The regular spot, or for you newbies, the black wave sculptures out the front of the arts center.
See below for directions.
What to bring?:
Cameras, sketchbooks, your sense of humour etc.
What not to bring?:
Your dignity, sanity, high hopes and expectations.
What do I do if I can't make it?:
Wait for the next one. They should be more frequent now that everyone's starting to get more enthusiastic around here.
There's usually maps for this, but they're not showing up anymore, so here's directions!
How to get there:
1. Stand at Flinders St Station and turn to face Fed Square.
2. Turn right, walk along St Kilda Road and cross Princes Bridge
3. Keep walking until you see the sculptures on your right. (they're just before the big spire, hard to miss really)
There should be a bunch of us sitting around under one of them.
Keep in mind there are major roadworks going on at the flinders/swanston st junction so you need to walk down to elizabeth st to cross flinders, unless you get the train in of course.

There's been talks between a few of us and it looks like a good date is Sunday the 23rd of this month. Which is two weeks away.
