as you may have already been informed
sydney has been selected
as the city to visit for the HQ world tour. with $Heidi and $spyed

now, this unfortunate accident in city selection () is too late to be
ajusted. So to make the best of the situation I'd like to know if any
melbourne deviants are travelling to <s>Melbourne</s>Sydney for the meet up on
the 12th of May.

I personally would be interested in car pooling with someone
especially someone with a car and pitching in for expenses.


SO if your going please take a camera along and let us know how it all goes.
We can post up little reviews and thumbs in the next journal!

oh and I hear there is going to be a little white cotton friend at the meet up in Sydney! I its not to smelly by now ( the travelling underwear people get with it!)

Hey kiddies, Braiden here.

I'm writing here for a couple of reasons. First and foremost to congratulate Tom (`budgieishere) and Gemma (~ChungaMunga) on their engagement. I'm sure I speak for everyone around here when I say all the best. I daresay there will be some form of devmeet based celebration or something. Y&J anyone?

The other reason I am writing here is to say get down to the meet this weekend!

Meeting Place: The Melbourne Arts Centre Spire (Black Waves)
Agenda:
This meet is just a general get-together for all those deviants out there that want to meet other like minded deviants for some fun times. Its being hosted on a Saturday for all those students out there! and others that work during the week. We won't be doing much moving around this time. Its just a lazy day to just hang around. We will, however, be going to a resturant of some kind for lunch on the day as a group. I will be putting a pole up soon on avaible venues so please vote so we know want people want! So those of us that are underage and need a organiser contact for parents please send a note and we can arrange something. OR you can bring yoru parents along ALL ARE WELCOME!
What to Bring Sketch Pads, camera, toys, hats, sunscreen, money for lunch (we will be heading to a place of business for lunch), lightsabers, sonic devices, and any other things you think will be fun/you want to show others.

Attention Deviants! currently Visage'N'Vice on Lygon st. are looking for local talent to show case in their monthly gallery nights. Below are the details as given to us:

<sub>Visage'n'Vice, a new alternative boutique on Lygon Street, are currently seeking expressions of interest from local artists who may be interested in displaying their work in monthly galley nights held at the shop.
From our searches so far, we have found it easy to spot good photographers, but are in great need of traditional or digital illustration etc.
Not many details have yet been sorted, we are merely seeing if we can get enough people together to run these nights in the first place.
If you want us to check out your work, send me a note on deviantART so I can contact you or email me 3-5 images that would be simular to what you wanted to display.

Convention! It was held at the Melbourne showgrounds from Friday and ended

For those that attended the last Devmeet in Feb you may recall the lovely
granny undies of doom that did the rounds and aquired a special Melbourne
facelift. Well the undies of doom have gone travelling! to date its been spotted in
Western Australia and is now sneeking its way to Sydney! So keep an eye out and

Over the next comming week we will be holding a CSS Journal competition that is open to all deviants!
As you can see our Journals have been a little bit all over the place so were looking for something that's well designed and relective of the community.

The requirments are:

- Melbourne related
- Original images or copyright free content
- Easily used code
- No offensive or nude imagery

and the prizes are:

1st Place CSS - A Full Year Subscription to dA + dA sticker Pack

2nd place CSS - 3 mth subscription
